Kurokawa is a three-part photobook series exploring the aesthetics of the horror through people, spaces, and objects. Inspired by the Uncanny Valley, the books organized along four dimensions and use layered translucent pages to conceal and reveal photographs. Translucent overlays soften the first impression, inviting viewers to gradually uncover what lies beneath the surface.
